  • I remind everyone earnings season is about to kick off, you should check the calendar for what is and when they are.  Wall Street Journal

  • U.S. stocks hit fresh 5-month highs on Tuesday as details from the Fed's latest meeting showed the U.S. central bank may once again flood markets with cheap cash "before long" to further boost growth.

    • Bests Q3 Expectations, Sees Q4 Revenue in Range Surrounding Street View
    • The stock's strong tendency to cut its evening gains in next-day trade would have us looking at potential short opportunities in INTC tomorrow. The stock had difficulty holding positive support above the 20 mark tonight so shorts may want to eye the 20.20 to 20 area, a range that could see downside drift back into the high 19s.

    • to Sell 40.9 Mln Shares in Offering, Issues Preliminary Q3 Results.
    • A pre-bell open Wednesday may have legs near 12.90 to 12.70. Sellers established a tentative ceiling tonight off the 13.18 to 13 range, levels shorts may want to eye for riding potential dips back into the high 12s.
    • ah's 13.12-12.5, lotta downside pressure, even downtrended will look at shorts tomorrow.
  3. CSX = 57.26
    • reports Q3 earnings of $1.08 per share, up from $0.73 per share a year ago and ahead of the Street view of $1.04 per share. Revenue increased to nearly $2.7 bln, vs. expectations of $2.65 bln.
    • Sees Q3 Earnings Lower than Q2
    • 57.73 - 58.75 ah's, good range there, uptrended with a topping action, test the resistance and see how it reacts before long or short.
    • Longs may want to target possible entry points between 57.80 and 58.40, an area where buy momentum remained firm in tonight's session. More risk tolerant longs may want to lift the entry closer to 58.40 to 58.60 in anticipation of the stock perhaps opening early action near these levels and possibly making a run into the higher 58s.
  4. CCME has been having some solid days lately. Keep an eye on it.
  5. GMCR been popping early then flattening out, looking for more of the same tomorrow.

    • Shy With EPS, Sales Beat
    • 31.60 - 30.11 ah's.
    • After its drop, its moves got choppy, has me inclined to long off of lows.
