Milestone Financial Investments L.L.C.
- Nasdaq-100 After-Hours Indicator Down 0.47 at 2,201.10
- GMCR, -17%, 37.75 to 30.78
- Why its moving:
- Beat Q4, but Q1 forecast is disappointing.
- Has a pattern of adding to evening declines in next-day trade, particularly considering some rather heavy downside volume that rolled into GMCR tonight. Shorts potential entry points in the 34.50 to 33.50 area, levels where some of the most aggressive downside trade of tonight's session moved into the issue. However, it's likely GMCR start the day well south of this area so more risk tolerant shorts may want to bring the entry down closer to 33 to 32, an area that could set up as a near-term ceiling level through the early going tomorrow. Stock saw some support in the upper 30.75 areas, where is if 31-30 cracks tomorrow we most likely get a large price move down, followed by a nice bounce opportunity.
- NSM, -4.5%, 14.97 to 13.51
- Why its moving
- Missed Q2 sales and guided below estimations.
- Near-term, the stock favors widening, adding to its evening direction in next-day trade in three of the last four quarters. Considering some rather steady upside liquidity that flowed into NSM tonight, off the 14 to 14.20 range, we're inclined to go with the longer-term reversal pattern and perhaps look for long plays off this area, a range that could see lift back toward 14.40.
- ASTM, -22.2%, 3.01 to 2.30
- Why:
- Commencing a public offering of its common stock.
- Sell pressure was heavy on stocks moves after-hours and with the news in place I would be short on this stock tomorrow with a potential entry in areas it saw resistance on upwards moves tonight, ie. 2.5 with a move to 2.35 for a secure cover because this level stood as support.
- CYS, -3.7%, 13.19 to 12.45
- Why?
- Launches 10m stock offering.
- Bounced off the lower level in night trade and saw some steady upticks and heavy sell pressure at top of this range, your looking to play it, play within these ranges, look for breaks above or below to indicate real move.
- BGP, -7.3%, 1.33 to 1.27
- Why?
- revenue is still hurting
- I've been talking about being short on this stock for a while now, so any signs of strength make for a solid short sell. Could use this same strategy intra-day. Stock hit 1.25 on low of night and looks like it will continue down more.
- PLL, +4.1%, 47.94 to 51.39
- Why?
- Earnings report was better than expected in revenue category.
- Got some real quick strong moves up on some pretty good volume, little bit of resistance at 50, but that resistance will most likely turn into support tomorrow and should get some nice moves off that base.
- THC, +48.3%, buyout offer 6.00
- Trading over its offer at 6.4
