"If I told you I was a Scalping-Man, you'd Agree."
  • Yahoo CEO: Consumer Confidence 'Really Weird' Right Now
    • I am in full agreement with this statement of Weirdness. This market is more of a lottery ticket market where the lottery ticket costs you your whole portfolio and if you scratch it right you either end up making small scalps or loosing large chunks, Blue chips acting like pennies.
  •  A U.S. House panel will consider online privacy legislation on Thursday, aimed at limiting the collection and use of consumer data.
    • What kinda bullish is this, limit consumer data? Do you want to put horse blinders on us so we only see whats in front as well?
  •  U.S. small-capitalization stocks rose Tuesday, outpacing their large-cap peers, as investors brushed aside mediocre earnings and optimistically looked ahead to Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke's testimony to Congress later this week.

    • Q2 EPS miss by 2 cents, revenue misses.
    •  Made a huge leap to after hours high of 263, then came down to 256.25 where it got alot of support for a steady uptrend to the 259 area.
    • Expect buyers in pre 256x57area to push apple into the 260's, where there are alot of owners so any movements above the 260's be looking for sellers.
    • Long - 256 to 257 and under
    • Short - 263 to 261 or over
    • Pivot Point - 260.
    • I'm more on the long side of this stock especially if you can get it at my specified long entry points. Considering the popularity of this stock as well and with the news of an earnings report of this magnitude, although mixed Q4, Long.
  2.  Yahoo (YHOO:$15.20,00$0.10,000.66%) declined in evening trade on the back of an earnings beat and revenue that came in shy of Street estimates.  Search Was 'Sluggish' For Entire 2Q.
    • Out with mixed earnings; Street focused on search-related ad drop.
    • Dropped immediately once earnings had come out to 14.2, where it got a brief pop back to 14.6, that sparked a sell off and it downtrended for an hour to a low of 14.05, got pop support into flatness at 14.25.
    • Long - only if it breaks under 14 then I would watch for big drop and bounce.
    • Short - 14.5x6 area.
    • Pivot - 14.27
    • I'm mixed with this stock with a bias towards being short, but only if I can get the right price. Although the month chart shows strong support for a long hold at 13.75.
  3. Gilead Sciences Inc. (GILD:$33.00,00$0.09,000.27%) reported late Tuesday second-quarter profit rose 25%, helped by stronger sales of its flagship HIV drugs and wider profit margins.
    • Cuts 2010 Sales View.
    • Cliff dove to 31.47 gained weird low volume support into the 32.6 area.
    • Range was 31.47 to 33.07
    • Long - from the 32 under snag
    • Short at 33+
    • Long off the floor.
  4. Boston Scientific Corp (BSX:$6.27,00$0.16,002.62%) on Tuesday reported a second-quarter profit that was better than expected as sales of its implanted heart defibrillators recovered from a one-month shipment halt this spring. Profit falls but ICDs rebound.
    • Sprouted wings up to 6.6, before sell off dropped it back to where it closed.
    • Range 6.03 to 6.6
    • Sets Q3 Sales Guidance Below Street - up 4.5% in After-Hours
    • This stock popped and dropped just as fast, mixed on my position with bias towards being

    • Dropped to a quick early evening low of 67.96 before setting off on a strong upside run that took it from 70.50 to a session high of 76.69, then pulled back a little and uptrended the rest of after hours.
    • 67.96 to 76.69
    • 2Q Net Soars, Beating Views; Forecast Raised
    • I'm going deep off as low as I can get it, maybe 75 and anything under. boomwin.
  6. Juniper Networks Inc's (JNPR:$26.69,00$0.09,000.34%) quarterly revenue rose 24 percent as companies resumed spending on network equipment, but the shares fell on disappointment that its earnings outlook was merely in line with Wall Street's forecast.
    •  27.5 to 25.7 coming down in after hours.
    • Files Shelf for Sale of Up to $1.5 Bln in Securities.
    • Possible downtrend locked in move.

    • APA - 85.77 to 88.28
    • Love that they swooped up BP's natural gas sector cause BP is bleeding oil and needs money to stop the flow.
    • Long at after hours low.
  11. Cintas Corp.'s (CTAS:$25.93,00$0.25,000.97%) fiscal fourth-quarter profit surged following year- earlier charges plus revenue and margin growth, although the uniform and business-supplies company warned it believed that a recovery in the U.S. private sector would be sluggish.
    • 25.91 to 26.4
    • After hours chart is weird is one red bar up to 26.4 so be careful on this one, good news, but I say short it and play the comedown to 25.5 area.
