Sept 23

Milestone Financial Investments L.L.C.
  • RHT: +4%; beats with Q2 results, guides above Street. BBBY: +5.1%; tops Q2 estimates, raises earnings growth goal. SBUX: -0.1%; raising some prices to match soaring green coffee costs. CIM: +1.6%; sets dividend.
  • Nasdaq-100 After-Hours Indicator Up 0.35 at 1983.11
  1. RHT = +4.1%, 35.50 - 38.65
    • tops Q2 est.
    • The longer-term widening pattern in place, combined with consistent performance on the heels of earnings-driven after-hours gains (adding to its upside the next day) would have us targeting potential long trades on RHT Thursday. Buyers may want to watch for potential entry points in the 37 to 37.50 area, a range where the upside looked most confident tonight. More risk tolerant longs may want to test the waters closer to 37.50 to 38 as it's likely the issue starts the day closer to these levels or higher. We would be a bit cautious up near the top as RHT did have some difficulty holding gains above 38.
  2. AMED = -4.3$, 29.67 - 28
    • $10mil charge restructure 39 agencies.
  3. BMR = -3.8%, 18.43 - 17.20
    • 13.5mil share offering
  4. BBBY = +4.7%, 41.76 - 44.54
    • tops Q2 est.
    • With a decent near-term widening pattern in place we're inclined to peg a long play on BBBY tomorrow. Early buyers may want to watch for any drift back to the 43.40 to 43.80 range, levels where upside liquidity was heavy tonight and where there may be room to catch some upside turns back toward 44. More risk tolerant longs may want to watch the 43.80 to 44 range as it's likely the issue starts the day closer to these levels and perhaps catches some early day pops back above 44.
  5. VRTX = -3.7%, 36.46 - 34.40
    • sell $375 senior notes.
    • A pre-market open Thursday may have potential surrounding the 34.80 area. The 35.10 to 35 range set up as a firm ceiling through the first-half of tonight's trade, withstanding some rather vigorous upside volume - an area shorts may want to eye as a possible ceiling level that could see drops back into the higher 34s.
  6. CDII = +8%, 1.18 - 1.32
    • add contract +$30mil in rev within the year.
  7. DIN = +2.8%, 40.43 - 42
    • sees same store sales improve.
  8. AMAT looks like its setting up for short, 50 day resistance. http://fsc.bz/72O
  9. TSLA I'm looking for this to reverse and longed some towards eod for overnight hold and hope gap up. http://fsc.bz/72N
  10. LVS against the grain, love it, LVS classic moves up. http://fsc.bz/72M
  11. SVNT crazy pop towards end of day, CEO says they are looking to sell the company by mid next week. http://fsc.bz/72L
  12. AAPL major pop with nice upward trend and hold of gains. http://fsc.bz/72K
  13. BIDU follow the upward channel. http://fsc.bz/72J
