  • U.S. stocks retreated Thursday after a four-session winning streak as weekly jobless claims disappointed and investors fretted about the methods used by banks foreclosing on mortgages.
  • Nasdaq-100 After-Hours Indicator Up 17.36 at 2,071.87 - thats the highest I've ever seen this.
  1. GOOG: +9%; tops with Q3 expectations. 
    • despite the uptick in sell pressure there wasn't much willingness to have it retrace much of its gains below 590. More risk tolerant early longs may want to target potential entry points near 585 to 590, levels likely to see morning interest and where a potential base support could form for possible runs deeper into the mid- to higher-590s. Less risk tolerant longs may want to watch for any slippage down to the 572 to 580 area, levels where some of the strongest buy liquidity of tonight's session rolled into the shares in the first-half.
    • I'm looking to see a move over $600 if we can get there would be huge.
  2. AMD: +4.6%; results top year-ago quarter. 
    • strong reversal data following an earnings-driven after-hours gain would have us looking at playing both sides of the trade in AMD tomorrow. On the long side, buyers pushed in some of their most dynamic liquidity early tonight between 7.20 and 7.47, a range that could see touches and perhaps some bounces back toward 7.50 to 7.60. On the short side, the 7.65 to 7.60 range proved a tough ceiling throughout tonight's trade, and if it again holds back upside tests tomorrow then more risk tolerant shorts may want to nibble here and look for possible drops back toward the low 7.50s.
    • I"m playing the short side of this tomorrow.
  3. STX: +19.8%; discloses interest for potential going private transaction. 
    •  never played this type of news move before dont know what to expect.
  4. JOEZ: -2%; beats with sales. 
  5. BORN been seeing resistance at 20area, moved back today, been on nice run ups lately.
  6. ABK solid moves today, huge profits made, over $1 in ah's tonight, put on watch.   
  7. MGM could break some resistance levels here and get some more downs, short sets baby
  8. GME news thats cutting into gamestops revenue is bringing this stock down as of late, look for short.  
  9. APOL nice little move up at eod, could see some moves back higher tomorrow.
  10. LCHL pennypic play brought to my attention from a heck ova trader.
