Jan 5 - Wed. "Yoku/Hollywood?"

Milestone Financial Investments L.L.C.
  • Nasdaq-100 After-Hours Indicator Down 0.14 at 2,251.32
  1. MOS, +3%
    • easily beats with Q2 results
    • strong tendency to add to after-hours gains in next-day trade would have us looking at potential long plays on MOS tomorrow, but we would still be cautious on the upside as sellers were active at 77.30 and above tonight. Early longs may want to target potential entry points in the 76 to 77 range, levels that could form as a base support early tomorrow. More risk tolerant longs may want to linger closer to 77 to 77.20 in anticipation of this area catching some early day interest and perhaps seeing some pops back up toward 77.50 or above.
  2. MTSN, -16.4
    • cuts outlook below prior guidance
    • pre-market open Wednesday may have potential surrounding the 2.15 level. Buyers were active at tonight's lows of 2.11 up near 2.15, a possible floor support for shorts to be wary of and perhaps for longs to test the waters for upside turns back toward 2.20. Despite some strong buy liquidity early tonight, the 2.29 to 2.25 area held as a first-half, post-halt ceiling that shorts may want to watch.
  3. TRID, -20%
    •  cuts Q4 outlook
    •  pre-market open Wednesday may have potential in the 1.60 to 1.50 range. TRID developed a consistent top in the late first-half between 1.75 and 1.60, an area shorts may want to watch through the early going tomorrow and where there may be room to catch some downside draft back into the 1.50s.
  4. YOKU,+8.6%
    • deal with Yoku premium service teaming up with Hollywood and specifically showing the movie Inception on their premium service.
    •  stock moved up steadily to the 38 level where it held its gains on lower volume, will be looking for it to move anywhere below 38 level to long, profit taking could bring stock down lower though so be careful.
  5. ANGO, flat
    • just shy with Q2 sales, beats with EPS, backs FY 2011 guidance
    • no movement ah's but considering report I think its important to watch.
  6. ATHR - $45/share deal with QCOM is a possiblility, related to BRCM as well.
  7. FRX - announced positive results on a drug, got some up/down movement afterwards, will be watching for something again.
  8. XOMA, OREX, VVUS, ARNA - diabetes drug co's XOMA been the mover, but these reins switch hands.
  9. APKT - Chart  stock wants to push 52's and hold, will be looking for that move.
  10. Rare Earths in Play if you don't know these tickers by now, stay out. MCP, REE, SHZ, etc.
