5.02.2012

May 3 - Thurs. "Blood Sweat"

GMCR - cratered lower in Wednesday's after-hours after missing Q2 sales expectations and warning its FY 2012 revenue will trail Street estimates.  This company is absolutely murdered. I like the long off morning weakness for a move back up towards 34. FY lowered, but alot of this has to be priced in, what is this company a company that should be in the teens?
JDSU -missed on Q3 revenue and setting its Q4 revenue view below estimates. The stock adds to its evening trade in next-day action regardless of whether its up or down in the after-hours, offering both longs and shorts solid opportunities to play the shares.  Shorts want to short at 11.6 for a kick back to 11, possibly 10.75 where some support is located.

VCLK - weaker-than-expected Q1 revenue and Q2 guidance below estimates. Shorts may want to target possible entry areas near 18.90 to 18.50, a top that set up late in Wednesday's evening trade. 16.5-17 is some support, I'd suspect the stock to open closer to support providing only a scalp short and possibly trend reversal early on, which gives me long bias. E/r and guidance were only slight.

ANR - has e/r tomorrow, not sure when exactly, but I'm keep my eyes on this one.
BKS - kicked my butt today, but I'm still hanging in there with 19.5's as my swing average, prolly shoulda waited till it hit my support target, 18.25 to 18.75, but I'm just like you and I get in early and panic/greed/fear etc. We'll see if I can swing this for a gain, will give it to hold 18's, possibly 17.5's before I give up, otherwise, just like SHLD we'll see this pop 2-3 points soon, hopefully we still in it.

FIRE - still grinding to new 52's, at this point I almost see no short opportunity because its a slow grind higher each day, even with the mkt being weaker today it set new 52's, possibly we get a parabolic if the mkt is decently strong and then we get short.
ZAZA - still on its uptrend, I would like to accumulate sub 5's and see it gear and push and start to hold 5's and then we get our run. We see it rip over this 5.5 mark, it'll run to 7's.
