    • A Louisiana judge's ruling against the Obama administration's moratorium on deepwater drilling momentarily sent offshore drilling shares soaring Tuesday before they sank right back into the red as the White House said it would appeal.
  3. Adobe Systems Inc. (ADBE:$32.7625,$-0.37,00-1.11%) said it posted an 18% jump in fiscal second-quarter profit, but they still edged lower in after-hours trade despite reporting better-than-expected Q2 results, setting a share buyback, and issuing guidance that straddled the Street view.
