  • The Federal Reserve's Beige Book report sees new caution creeping into the economy. Boeing results disappoint. Durable-goods orders decline.
    • The report found the economy continued to expand, on balance, but said the Cleveland and Kansas City Fed banks reported stalled conditions. The Atlanta and Chicago Fed banks reported that their regions' pace of growth had slowed recently. Of the few areas reporting improved conditions, they stressed that only modest improvement was seen.  
  • Nasdaq-100 After Hours Indicator Down 1.15 at 1,871.47.
  • Arizona employers still face immigration crackdown, Workers' Act, enacted in 2008, heads for U.S. Supreme Court.
  • Well-known mutual-fund manager Bruce Berkowitz is still betting on the U.S. financial sector, saying he recently accumulated a stake in Morgan Stanley (MS:...) .
    • MBIA Inc. (MBI:$8.63,00$0.15,001.77%) got a boost from Berkowitz saying he also wants to help the company other than buying shares in open mkt.

  1. Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVS:$26.69, up$1.41, up5.58%) swung to a second-quarter profit, topping analysts' expectations due in part to a strong showing by its newly opened Singapore property.

  3. GSI Commerce Inc.'s (GSIC:$26.55,00$-0.87,00-3.17%) second-quarter loss widened as the company's costs offset a big jump in revenue.
    • drop 24.2, pop to 25, sup 25.25, res 28 flat.
  4. CommScope Inc.'s (CTV:$26.07,00$-0.30,00-1.14%) second-quarter profit more than doubled amid growing revenue, but Shares Tumble On View As 2Q Profit Soars!

  5. Symantec Corp. (SYMC:$14.67,00$-0.32,00-2.13%) shares fell nearly 7% late Wednesday after the security software maker issued a weaker-than-anticipated forecast.
    • Major drop, then flat 13.5-13.7
  6. Nvidia Corp. (NVDA:$10.13,00$-0.33,00-3.15%) lowered Wednesday its second- quarter revenue estimates, amid weak consumer spending that weighed on sales of its flagship graphics processing chips.
    • drop 9.5 flat.
  7. Equifax Inc.'s (EFX:$30.25,00$-0.55,00-1.79%) second-quarter earnings rose 20% as revenue increased and the company saw a $12 million gain from the April sale of its APPRO product line.
    • downtrended last 10 days, if breaks down 30 s/s for a target of 29, but there is alot of sup at 30.
  8. Express Scripts Inc (ESRX:$42.20,00$-1.19,00-2.74%) on Wednesday reported that second-quarter profit rose 60 percent, but the company raised only the low end of its full-year earnings forecast and its shares fell more than 3 percent.
  9. Zions Bancorp's (ZION:$21.26,00$-0.16,00-0.75%) deal with Deutsche Bank (DB:$68.8600,$0.8000,1.18%) . The derivatives deal will cost Zions roughly $5.3 million a quarter after the first year. +2.5%; inks swap deal wit Deutsche Bank to transfer credit risk.

    • small pop 21.75, sup @20, but I expect uptrend, maybe some pullback if we have a down day to 21.3, if it looks like its pulling and break sup levels s/s it.
  10. Akamai Technologies (AKAM:$44.03,00$-0.30,00-0.68%) slumped lower in evening trade after beating on revenue and meeting earnings expectations for its Q2.
    • large drop to 40, sup @40, pop to 42.
  11. IRobot Corp. (IRBT:$19.41,00$-0.93,00-4.57%) swung to a profit in the second quarter on a surge in revenue and jump in margins, as the robot maker also boosted its full-year guidance.
    Shares surged 13% to $22 in after-hours trading. 
    • One of my favorite picks and stocks here, no clue why, but anyway low volume so be ware, but major pop 22.5, dip 21.75, if you can get 20.75 I'd long it.
  12. Skechers USA Inc. (SKX:$35.21,00$-0.26,00-0.73%) swung to a second-quarter profit as the shoe company reported surging sales due to successful product development and delivery in the U.S. and abroad, as well as improved margins.
    • big gain 38.5, uptrended from there. expect more of that tomorrow. 
  13. Vistaprint N.V. (VPRT:$50.26,00$-0.33,00-0.65%) , a provider of online printing and design services, posted weaker-than-expected quarterly revenue hurt by currency fluctuations and forecast 2011 results well short of the market consensus, sending it shares down 26 percent.
    • gigantic drop to 36, wow! small pop to 38 showing signs of support, watch this closely, but I'm thinking long term, starter position at open. 
  14. Massey Energy Co (MEE:$30.05,00$0.40,001.35%)
    • watch list add. alot of sup at 29 and 30.
  15. AMN Healthcare Services (AHS:$6.74,00$-0.26,00-3.71%) said it will buy smaller rival Medfinders, a provider of clinical workforce services, for about $88 million in stock to strengthen its presence in the healthcare staffing market.
    • waves, but good pos news. 6.5 long, target 7.1. s/s back down.
I chose not to do the graphs tonight and just tell you what things did, because the charts dont give you ah's anyway and ah's are better indicators of what will happen the next day anyway, the chart is good to give you res and sup levels, which I just txt'd you anyway.
