- Crazy day today, some real nice shorts put me into thousand territory and a few small longs worked out: LVS was short 30.4 level, covered that around 29.9, ONP formed some real nice sup at 5 so I longed about 4k at that level for a swing trade looking to gap up, and BSDM was just fast money all day.

- Brocade Communications Systems (BRCD:$5.14,00$0.17,003.42%) fell in night trade after after a revenue miss.
- -7.2% ah's, ranged downside 5.19-4.75
- It downtrended to 4.75 and pop back to 4.94 area, looking for a pull back to 4.8 area, short.
- PetSmart Inc (PETM:$30.15,00$0.38,001.28%) posted a strong quarterly profit, helped by continued positive same-store sales in its higher-margin hardgoods business, and the pet products retailer raised its full-year earnings view, sending shares up 7 percent after the bell.
- 6.8%, moved up nicely after profit ranged 29.97-32.9.
- This stock is reaching its highs of the years around 34x35area, possibly look for a move back into that area, but I'm almost short biased, if you can snag it low go for the long, otherwise maybe let this scenario play out.
- SanDisk Corp. (SNDK:$44.86,00$1.29,002.96%) to Offer $1 Bln in Convertible Senior Notes -- Shares Slide 3% After Hours.

- Alot of support at 42, expect a bounce of 42 level unless sup breaks, could have a nice move downwards, play with your eyes open, mixed bag of tricks here.
- Hot Topic (HOTT:$4.91,00$0.03,000.61%) reports Q2 loss per share of $0.14. Without a $0.02 per share expense related to ShockHound, loss per share would have been $0.12 compared to Street view of $0.13. Revenue of $150 million was lower than the Street view of $150.3 million.
- -2.4%, downwards move on this loss per share, range 4.95-4.59
- I'm long biased on this one even though there was a loss, long.
- NetApp Inc. (NTAP:$39.32,00$0.67,001.73%) on Wednesday reported a fiscal first-quarter profit that more-than-doubled from a year ago as the data-storage technology company's results were driven by strong growth in storage products.

- Don't know why this moved down, this is good news, long.
- Synopsys Inc.'s (SNPS:$22.28,00$0.19,000.86%) fiscal third-quarter profit declined 17% as the software company spent more money on sales and marketing, while revenue fell as well.

- Small move up, but I'm not convinced of this move, I'd be short.

- Applied Materials Inc. (AMAT:$11.38,00$-0.005,0-0.04%) swung to a fiscal third-quarter profit despite $ 135.3 million in restructuring charges and asset write-downs as sales more than doubled and margin improved.
