- In the three quarters tracked recently on MCP the stock has added to its evening performance in next-day regular session trade in all three events; one to the upside and two to the downside. It's not overwhelming stuff to go "all in" long Thursday, but it's enough to watch the tentative floor support that developed late tonight between 49.25 and 49.50, an area that could see attempts to claw back near 50.

- there looks to be some potential for longs to creep into the shares on Thursday. Buyers were most active Wednesday night between 23.50 and 24.50, a potential bottom support that could hold for upside moves back into the higher 24s. More risk tolerant longs may want to nibble at the shares closer to 24.50 to 24.75 as the stock held support at these levels late Wednesday night. We would caution, however, that sell momentum did pick up late in evening trade at levels north of 24.75 so longs may want to look for quick exits if positive momentum falters up here

- You're damned if you do and damned if you don't, based on the history. What we see supporting the long side in Wednesday's trade is some decent buy momentum that rolled into HRB shares through much of after-hours trade, mostly between 15.56 and 16.10, a wide range but an area where a base support could form for some attempts to pop back into the lower- to mid-16s.

- XLNX - i thought it was going to rip up higher once it put in a double bottom and broke some resistance levels, but nope.
- GMCR - news pushed this higher look for it to push 44 only on good volume, few head fakes today.
