Mar 9 - Wed. "Be COOL"

Milestone Financial Investments L.L.C.
  • Nasdaq-100 After-Hours Indicator Down 1.38 at 2,336.17
  1. FNSR, -38%
    •  Q4 guidance below Wall Street expectations
    • may want to watch the 28 to 26 range early on Wednesday, an area that could form as a near-term ceiling level. More risk tolerant shorts may want to sit closer to the 26 to 25 range in anticipation of the issue starting the day closer to here and perhaps testing a fresh bottom in the lower 20s
  2. JDSU, -14.9%
    • related to FNSR
    • one of my favorites, I'm liking a reversal at some point in the day tomorrow, maybe off the 20 level.
  3. CIEN, -6.3%
    •  sympathy on FNSR
    • 23x24 saw support, play from these levels.
  4. EPB, -3.4%
    • slow incher down.
  5. COOL, +34.4%
    •  better-than-expected results and guidance
    • inclined to follow the strong widening trend in place in COOL, but we would still be cautious at the higher levels as the stock did see considerable sell momentum roll into the shares each time it moved above 2.30. Early longs may want to watch the 2.10 to 2.20 area, a range likely to see early day interest and perhaps generate some bumps back toward 2.30 to 2.40.
  6. AVAV, 12.3%
    • blowing past Q3 estimates
    • Such a strong history of adding to earnings-driven evening trade has us bullish on the long side on AVAV Wednesday, particularly with some rather strong upside liquidity Tuesday night that held the stock steady near 32. Early longs may want to target potential entry points close to 31.70 to 32, an area that could form as a base support through the early going Wednesday and perhaps catch some attempts to move back into the mid- to higher-32s
